Who we are

Family, restored one child at a time

Zion at Heart Foundation works in communities across Eastern Uganda, standing with children who have lost parents or live in vulnerable households. Rather than removing children from their communities, our team of social workers and volunteers works through guardians, schools, churches and local leaders — strengthening the families already caring for them.

That looks like walking a child through school registration, sitting with a guardian on a home visit, or making sure a household has enough food on the table. It is slow, relational work — and it is the work that lasts.

"No child should grow up alone."
